About Us

We recently moved Runcorn ABC and are now located in Halton Lea Shopping Centre. Our new location will allow the following; 

Allow more people to attend due to the central location, good public transport links and parking facilities

Allow us to increase our foot fall into the gym, not only for individuals, but for larger groups such as local school classes, football teams, women’s boxercise etc

Will also allow us to operate more safely within any government guidelines that they may issue regarding social distancing whilst training

Allow us to run multiple classes at any one time

Allow us to incorporate PT’s who may want to use our specialist equipment in order to train their clients

As part of our recent move to a new premise, we have entered partnership with AFA (Activity for All Boxing Academy). AFA are a well-established organisation in the Liverpool area and already have a successful college set up in the city. The aim of the college is to provide 16-19-year olds with the opportunity to learn and develop the following;

Attain level 2 fitness instructing

Attain level 3 Personal Training

Train twice a week in our unique and state of the art gym

Learn the fundamental skill & techniques of boxing

Learn the science and development behind the sport

Take part in high performance fitness and boxing training

This partnership is also incorporating Cheshire Constabulary who have been very supportive of the move and the benefits it will offer the community. As part of the partnership with Cheshire Constabulary, they will set up a referral scheme in order to provide stability and focus to young people who they think will benefit from boxing.
