Our state of the art boxing gym has four boxing rings.

Our bag area includes:

and many more - we also have a second cardio gym with treadmill, weights and other machines. There is a waiting area with a view of training. Two changing rooms with showers

Runcorn Amateur Boxing Club was established in the 1960’s and has provided a whole host of benefits to the local community for many decades. Our longevity has been, and will always be, based on a number of factors;
• Offering an open-door policy to people of all ages and backgrounds
• Strong working relationships with local Police, Authorities and Schools.
• Working within guidelines and governance set by England Boxing
• Passionate staff who devote their spare time to volunteer
Muay Thai/Kickboxing
Muay Thai/Kickboxing is fantastic for:

Plus lifelong skills. Classes are for Juniors and Adults.
Sport Kung-Fu
Sport Kung-Fu is a well-rounded and versatile style, with a very distinct and noticeable flow – A Sport Kung-Fu Student is deadly from any angle or position, including on the floor and against weapons.
England Boxing is the National Governing Body for the sport of Boxing in England, overseeing more than 900 affiliated clubs and more than 17,000 members spread across the country.
The organisation carries out a number of functions including overseeing the safety and welfare of members, child protection and compliance, coaching courses, DBS checking and promotion of boxing to potential new members, enforcing rules and regulations and providing a talent pathway for boxers who excel.
England Boxing also organises and administrates a number of national and regional competitions for Elite, Youth, Junior, Schools and Development Boxers, as well as an annual Three Nations tournament and a female-only Box Cup.
Welcome to AFA Boxing Academy
The overall aim of the program is to support any Boxers or young people with aspirations to work in the sport or leisure sector in gaining the experience and qualifications necessary to open up as many pathways as possible including university, apprenticeship, full time employment and elite-level performance, Students will also work towards gaining maths and English qualifications, gain work experience within the sector and receive support with any personal issues they may be dealing with, from mental health to family life.
We have run this program with huge success in Anfield ABC and after having some positive meetings with Daz from Runcorn ABC we are now proud to bring our academic to Runcorn Boxing Club.
